Three Generations Bringing Freshness to Your Table
Founded in 2022 by twin sisters with the help of siblings and many generations of farmers and vegetable growers, E.O.O. Farm is located in the heart of Union County, in Marysville, OH. Situated on 17 Acres full of pasture, prairie, and woodland, we offer a variety of produce, eggs, and even seasoned firewood. We are proud of how far we have grown, from tiny little seeds to tall green leaves. We hope you enjoy our produce!
ABOUT OUR PROCESS
START FROM SEED: All of our plants are started from seed, either in doors or through direct sowing in the garden. This year’s produce was started as early as February in our indoor growing area.
HARDENED IN THE GREENHOUSE: We harden our seedling in the greenhouse on our farm to make sure they are hardy enough for the open garden elements.
GROWN IN THE GARDEN: The final stop before the market is the open two acre garden plot. All of our produce is harvests as close to the date of the market as possible with some produce being harvested the morning of market.
ORGANICALLY PRINCIPLED
From our growing processes to our chicken's daily life we follow organic principles. Our chickens are free range. Our compost fertilizer used in the garden is a combination of our own organic garden and kitchen scraps mixed with the chicken manure, and supplemented with purchased "Zoo Brew" from another local Organic Farm. No pesticides are used other than the chickens naturally eating the bugs on the property while they free range.
